- All subjects are taken at AS level in Year 12 and an AS qualification may be obtained in most subjects at the end of that year without further study.
- All subjects can be studied in Year 13 at A2 level so that students who continue may obtain a full A level qualification at the end of the year.
- Subjects may have a modular examination in Year 12 in January or wait until June for the examination which can lead to the award of an AS qualification. Similar opportunities exist in Year 13 for students who continue to study a subject leading towards a full A level.
- Grades are awarded from A to E for each subject at AS and A level.
